Otuteye Urges Sege NDC Executives to Unite for 2028 Victory.

Former Sege Member of Parliament, Hon. Christian Corletey Otuteye, has called on newly elected National Democratic Congress (NDC) constituency executives to put their differences aside and work together to secure victory for the party in the 2028 general election. He made the call during the party’s constituency-level elections held at the Akplabanya School Park, where new executives were elected to lead the party at the constituency level.

Mr Otuteye urged the newly elected executives not to allow the competition that came with the internal elections to divide them. He said the election was over and the time had come for all members to come together and work towards a common goal. According to him, unity among the executives would be key to building a strong party and preparing well for the 2028 polls.

He also advised the new leaders to learn from the mistakes of their predecessors and avoid actions that could create problems within the party. He stressed that good leadership requires cooperation, respect and a willingness to put the interest of the party ahead of personal interests.

Mr Otuteye described the Ada area as a strong base for the NDC and urged the executives to work hard to maintain the party’s support among the people. He reminded them that their positions came with responsibilities, urging them to remain close to party members and work in the interest of the people they represent.

The former MP further encouraged the executives to see their election as an opportunity to serve rather than a reason to look down on others who contested them. He said the task ahead was bigger than individual interests and called on all members to support the new leadership as the party begins preparations for the 2028 general election.

Mr Otuteye’s message comes as the newly elected executives prepare to take up their duties, with unity, discipline and teamwork expected to play an important role in the party’s efforts to maintain its support in the Ada area and win the next general election.
