NPP Elects New National Executives: John Boadu Wins Chairman as Frimpong Kodua Retains Position

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has completely restructured its national leadership following high-stakes internal elections held at the party's delegates conference in Kumasi.
The freshly elected executive team was sworn into office immediately after the official declaration of results, marking the formal beginning of their four-year mandate to steer the party's administrative and mobilization agenda.

At the helm of the new administration, former General Secretary John Boadu was elevated to the position of National Chairman, while Justin Frimpong Kodua successfully retained his seat as General Secretary.
The party's vice-chairmanship positions will be managed by Kojo Fosu Boadu (Kojo Bamba) as First Vice Chairman, Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B) as Second Vice Chairman, and veteran politician Nana Akomea taking the role of Third Vice Chairman.
The core operational wings of the party saw significant updates to drive active grassroots mobilization. Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover emerged as the National Organiser, working alongside Mavis Hawa Koomson, who was elected National Women’s Organiser.
The youth mobilization front will be led by Abanga Fuseini as National Youth Organiser, while Alhaji Mohammed Ali Suraj assumes office as the Nasara Coordinator. Managing the party's financial apparatus is Alfred Kojo Thompson, who was elected National Treasurer.
With the transition fully formalized, this new crop of leadership takes immediate control of the NPP’s organizational apparatus. Their primary task will be to launch nationwide membership drives and blueprint the active campaign strategy for the upcoming general election.
